Are Simply Potatoes real potatoes?
Our products are made from fresh potatoes and have never been frozen. We do not recommend freezing them and can not guarantee the quality if you do so. If you do freeze and thaw the product, moisture or collecting water and possible sloughing of the product is expected.

Do dehydrated hash browns go bad?
Both had a ‘Best By Date’ of 10 months from when I received them. As for a real shelf life, I’ve had open containers of the dehydrated Hash Browns for about 2 years with no issues. Of-course, once rehydrated, it must be kept in the fridge and I’d expect, like a fresh potato, to go bad within 2 weeks give or take.
